6th Grade Parent/Guardian Information for Field Trip

Dear Parents/Guardians,

Nova Academy’s Senior Class is planning its annual educational and fun filled trip to Houston for the NASA School Overnight Program. This field trip is scheduled to take place on Thursday and Friday, May 27th and 28th, 2010. The amount of $200.00 is an all inclusive fee for students attending this trip only. The $200.00 will include a trip to N.A.S.A. and a complete Cap and Gown package.

The $200.00 fee does not include any incidentals or extra spending money for the students attending the trip. You can pay the fee in full or installments. (See Below)

  • A minimum deposit of $50.00 (Non-Refundable) is due by February 12, 2010.
  • The balance of the fee is due by April 23, 2010.

We will depart from Nova Academy Bruton, at 9:00 am on Thursday, May 27th.
We will return at approximately 7:30 pm on Friday Night, May 28th.

No student will be allowed to go on this trip unless a Field Trip Permission Form is signed and turned in to Mr. Gray by Friday, April 23, 2010. NO EXCEPTIONS. Please return the permission form along with the deposit. In addition, the Senior Class fee (CASH ONLY) must be turned in to the school by Friday, April 23, 2010.

Chaperones for the trip are needed and greatly appreciated. All chaperones will be required to pass a background check and pay their own cost of $175.00 for the trip. If you intend to chaperone, you must let us know and pay the $175.00 before Friday, April 23, 2010.
