Student Code of Conduct?
All students are entitled to enjoy the basic rights of citizenship recognized and protected by law for persons of their age and maturity. The school will foster a climate of mutual respect for the rights of others. Students are expected to respect the rights and privileges of other students, teachers, and staff. Nova rules of conduct and discipline are established to achieve and maintain order in the school. Students who violate the rights of others or who violate the school rules will be subject to disciplinary measures designed to correct the misconduct and to promote adherence by all students to their responsibilities as citizens in the school community.
What is a Charter School?
A charter school is a public school that is approved and funded by the state. It allows educators, parents, and community members more freedom at the local level to design their own school. It offers parents a choice in where they educate their children. Nova may enroll students anywhere in Dallas County. Parents PAY NO TUITION or book fees. There are no qualifying entrance exams. Students are expected to follow Nova Code of Conduct. We offer quality mandatory skills for success and personal goal achievement within our students.
